Problem Note 53778: SASĀ® does not correctly flag a 450 return code (file in use) from an FTP server as an error
In SAS®9, if you access a file defined with the FILENAME statement using the FTP engine and the access fails with an FTP error, SAS incorrectly leaves the return code as zero.
If you specify the DEBUG option in the FILENAME statement using the FTP engine, the following note appears in your SAS log, but SAS incorrectly leaves the return code as 0.
NOTE: <<< 450 Data set xxxx.yyyy.zzzz is allocated to another job and is unavailable for RETR command.
